3.00 York Masekala ew
Today’s racing at York look really difficult with unexposed 2yos and 3yos in the first 2 races – I would just be guessing so no point having a bet just for the sake of it. One who did catch my eye is Masekala. He drops into handicap company for the first time today after pulling too hard last time out at Newmarket in the group 3 Earl of Sefton Stakes . This is a big drop in class into a class 2 handicap. He was 4th in last year’s derby and has been dropped 5lbs since then , just getting into this handicap off a rating of 102. With the horses at the top of the betting questions too answer I’ll take a chance on the class horse in the race . Hoping he gets the lead but doesn’t pull too hard! Small ew bet on a tricky day
