Premier League:
Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester United

Brighton and Manchester United clash at the Amex tonight in a repeat of this years FA Cup semi-final.

Brighton are in a great position to qualify for European football next season and will be looking to close the gap to the top seven in the Premier League with a win against Manchester United. Brighton sit 8th in the table 2 points behind 7th with 3 games in hand. They go into the game after a massive morale-boosting 6-0 victory over Wolves in which they rested several key players.

The Seagulls will also be looking for revenge against Manchester United, who defeated them in the FA Cup semi-finals earlier this season. Brighton has a good record against United at the Amex Stadium, having won three of the five Premier League H2Hs played there. The fixture at this stadium has seen an average of 3.6 goals per game in the PL.

Manchester United has struggled away from home this season, conceding 31 of their 39 Premier League goals on the road and managing only two away wins in the league this season. With key players such as Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane, and Lisandro Martinez all ruled out of the game, United’s defensive issues could be further exposed.

In terms of team news, Brighton’s head coach Roberto De Zerbi may miss the match due to illness, while Joel Veltman and Evan Ferguson are both doubtful for the game. Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho is back in training but probably won’t feature in the match.

The key battle of the match is expected to be between Brighton’s Pascal Groß (if he plays RB flling in for the injured Veltman) and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. Rashford has a great record against Brighton, having won 10 personal victories over them. It will be interesting to see how Groß handles Rashford’s threat and whether he can nullify the United forward’s influence on the game.

Overall, this match should be entertaining, with Brighton looking to close the gap on the top seven and Manchester United hoping to get a result away from home. With both sides capable of scoring goals, we could be in for an entertaining game at the Amex Stadium.

Prediction: 1-2 Manchester United. 11/1 @ Quinnbet

Brighton v Man Utd Best Bets & Tips

Both Teams To Score, Moises Caicedo To Be Carded & Over 10 Corners – was 10/1 now 12/1

Games involving Man Utd average 10.31 corners in total, whilst Brighton’s home games have an average of 9.80.
11, 8, 13, 12, 11 are the last 5 head to head corner totals between Brighton and Man Utd.
8 yellow cards total for Caicedo this season – the most of any Brighton player.
BTTS also landed in 44% of United’s games and 58% of Brighton’s including 3 of their last 5
With enhanced odds of 12/1 this has value but a lot of things need to fall our way.
1pt bet.

William Hill are offering enhanced odds on this market

BTTS, Over 2.5 Goals & Over 7.5 Corners – Bet Zone  – 6/5

Both clubs average higher than the Premier League average of 52% of games with over 2.5 goals and as mentioned above, over 7.5 corners has come in all the last 5 head to heads comfortably.
With defence instability from Man United I expect both teams to get on the scoresheet. Brighton scored in 9/10 last home games and Man United conceded 31 of 39 goals this season on the road.
1pt Stake.

Bet Zone are offering 6/5 for this market – Up To £60 in Free Sports Bets & Up to 50 Free Casino Spins

Pascal Gross & Luke Shaw to be carded – 18/1 – Unibet double

Pascal Gross has racked up the second most minutes for Brighton this season so I don’t expect him to be substituted. 4 cards for Gross but he could be filling in at right full-back against the likes of Rashford or Sancho – both of which like to dribble with the ball and are fouled 0.7 and 0.5 times per game.
Shaw is joint second in Man United’s cards table with 6 for the season – 2 of which were against Brighton.
Pascal Gross now not playing, change to Caicedo – 9/1.
Referee, Andre Marriner averages 3.6 yellows per game.
1pt stake.
