Ran well for a long way last time out getting tired in the final 2 furlongs , should be fitter today, the winner of that race won yesterday (great state )
Only a pound higher in the weights than for its last win and the better ground will help .
Stall 1 isn’t ideal but drawn next to frontrunner sampers seven means he should get a decent pace too aim at.
Class dropper navello looks the main danger

Unlucky last time out at kempton eminency tops the betting and should go well, but at a bigger price I like the chances of Washington heights. Has only finished out of the places in 2 of his 7 races , and has some very strong form over 6 furlongs. Was a close 2nd too should’vebeenaring last August at York ( won last time in the Charles II at Newmarket and is rated 102 ) so off a rating of 89 he looks well handicapped. Back on good ground will suit so looks a decent ew bet against the likely Favourite.

My prospero has the best form in the race when 3rd too bay bridge and adayar in last year’s champion stakes at Ascot , there was a big improvement between that run and his run in France ( +10lb on racing post ratings ) and I expect this horse too be alot better this year!
Goes well fresh ( won first time up last year) and stays the mile well( won over 1m2f at Saint cloud) .
Top rated on official ratings with modern games, who I have doubts about as he’s never won a group one in England, so I’ll take a chance on my prospero at a ew price.
