This race in always a big draw bias race with high draws the place to be ( last 9 winners have been drawn 27,24,10,13,18,29,23,25, and 13) by this year the pace seems too be the low numbers so who knows?
The 2 I like are drawn 6 and 2 . Firstly spycatcher (6) is group level having run well behind some very good horses including Highfield princess in the group 3 duke of York stakes last may.
Last time out was a very good winner of a 7f race at Thirsk on soft ground and gets too race off the same mark (106).
Second choice rebel territory was a nice winner at Newmarket beating vafortino and looked like there’s more too come. Unraced on soft ground but I think given his high knee action should be ok( jockey Neil callan has also said would love soft).
Raised 2lb for winning last time out looks fair.
